Primary Symptoms:
Restless and hyperactive - "harder she tries, the worse it gets"
Short attention span for regular routine, boring tasks (homework, chores, etc)
Can focus for stimulating tasks (new novel, competitive events, etc.)
“If I am interested, I have no problems with focusing.”
Distractibility - Sensitive to noise, light, etc.
Disorganization - Need to be stress to get things accomplished
Procrastination
Poor impulse control
Looking through a Brain scan:
Low Dopamine: a stimulation neurotransmitter that helps us stay motivated.
Frontal lobe has very low activity.
